"Our family have been holidaying here for about 14 years. We love it, the cottages are spotless, stocked with all you could need ( and if it isn’t you only need ask!) A great deal of care and attention is invested in maintaining such a high standard for so many years, which is why we keep coming back. The facilities are great, especially for families! I cannot recommend these cottages enough, you will not get a better stay than Poltarrow farm."

"The cottage was the perfect size for us with our 16 month old and had everything we needed for him. Very clean, cosy and comfortable accommodation. Great location as well as there’s plenty to see and do within 15-30mins drive. We loved being on the farm and really appreciated being able to feed the animals every morning, Kate was so helpful and also had plenty of extra holiday tips to share! A big thank you to Judith and family for such a wonderful time at Poltarrow, we would highly recommend this place and can’t wait to come back!"

"We have been here before about 10 years ago, but I had to write this review. The family owned farm is top notch, highly recommended. We had one of the cottages, my daughter and her family had the roe buck house as they’re are 6 of them. Our cottage was amazing, spotlessly clean and how thoughtful a welcome hamper full of fresh farm produce, there was even shower cap and accessories for the shower, there is a lovely bath as well. Lovely view of the country side."
