Please be assured that health and safety is always our absolute priority.  The following information briefly lays out the plan in place – most of these measures will be undertaken behind the scenes but there will of course have to be some  processes in place to ensure the safety of other guests as well as us and our team:

Guidance
In the first instance we take our direction from the government.  We are members of the leading industry body The Professional Association of Self Caterers (PASC).

Documentation
We have obtained AA Certification as “Covid Confident” accommodation as well as Visit England’s “We’re Good to Go” accreditation.  In line with health and safety guidance, a thorough Covid-19 Risk Assessment has been carried out and shared with our team. We will continually review our Risk Assessment to take into account any changes in guidelines or legislation.

Cleaning
Our Housekeeping team will be following Covid-19 Cleaning Protocols issued by PASC, in line with government recommendations. This will lead to enhanced cleaning and sanitising with rigorous checks. The additional housekeeping will require some adjustment of arrival and departure times therefore please be aware that arrival time is from 5pm and departure time is 9.30am.

Hand sanitiser has been located at the entrance to your cottage as well as being available at other points around the farm. In your cottage you will find wipes, handwash  and anti-viral spray for your use.

Our Team
Our team will be provided with all necessary PPE.

Social Distancing
We will be asking guests to self check-in to their cottage on arrival.  Please ensure you are here to unpack any supermarket deliveries you may have pre-ordered.
Please maintain two metres distance from other guests

Facilities
The Swimming Pool and Sports Hall will be open with some capacity restrictions; it will close once an hour during the day for cleaning.  Due to its nature we are unable to open the Tumble Room.

Animal Feeding
There will be an animal feeding session exclusively for your family during the week and you are welcome to visit the animals at other times. Due to social distancing we are unable to offer pony rides.

Farm Shop
Our farm shop will be open offering a selection of restaurant quality freshly frozen meals and puddings from local catering company, Angels in the Kitchen www.angelsinthekitchen.co.uk as well as Kittows the Butchers frozen pasties, bacon & sausage plus some other local goodies. Don’t forget you can order a wider selection of frozen meals online from Angels in the Kitchen for delivery.

Guest Information
To minimise the risk of transmission, paper information folders have been removed from the cottages. In the My Planner app you will find the same information in digital form, please note we have updated as much as we can but things change daily so do check before travelling to attractions/eateries.
